A note: As of writing this, there is only one chapter of Sousei Yuugi available in English. So, I've wrung the first chapter of all its info, inferred some things from the raws, and compiled information from the brothers' official Instagram accounts. I figured this would make things easier for a prospective partner, but please make corrections or changes to interpretation as you see fit!

Rin is composed, the calmer counterpart to his temperamental twin brother. He's also traditional, denoting principles of his group, Black Sakura, as "Tsumugi.¹" To Rin, it symbolizes dedication to a rigorous and long-established process, resulting in a product that is refined and valuable. If he were to become Hoteigumi's² second-in-command (under his father, Chimao Kaneko), those are the standards that he would uphold.

First impressions.
Visual.6'1" / 187 cm. 180 lbs / 82 kg. Tall, with well-defined musculature. He has jet black hair, and like Lui, light amber eyes. Rin and Lui are not identical twins, but if it weren't for their contrasting hair colors they would be indistinguishable if assessed only by their facial features.
❝I am often complimented in such terms [beautiful], but I guess it depends on the person whether it is a compliment for a man or not. But there are different kinds of beauty. There is beauty in form, beauty in action, and inner beauty. I would like to devote myself daily to being thought of as the latter.❞As yakuza, Rin has an expansive tattoo in traditional Japanese style covering his entire back, shoulders, upper arms, pecs, buttocks, and the backs of his upper thighs. The motif prominently features black cherry blossoms (represents transformation, fleeting life) and green dragons (representing nature). He's stringent in the ways of the yakuza, so he doesn't openly display them. He even rents out bathhouses to keep them from being seen by civilians.
Fashion.Black, business formal. Never white, he hates it. When not conducting business, he's often donning dark kimonos or yukatas.
Demeanor.Persistent formalities give the impression of a young man who's mature for his age. Lui would disagree, deeming it disingenuous and solely for presentation. Given how often the brothers bicker and brawl there may be some truth to Lui's assertion. Rin is not very expressive, nor is he nearly as prone to outbursts like his brother which, of course, supports his belief of being the more mature twin. The composure is misleading, though. He isn't averse to confrontation, and he's capable of brutal acts as seen in his attempt to strangle his brother and when decapitating a man with his katana as if it were business as usual.
Aural.Deep, measured, and verbose (especially in writing).
Scent.Clean and faintly of persimmon. On rare occasions he smells lightly of cologne in a scent Lui would recognize. "I think this cologne is the kind of fragrance that he would like, so I'd like to wear it the next time we meet and see how he reacts to it."
